This is my first post about World Health Organization (WHO), there is a lot to say about it!
Have you ever explored the WHO page related to medical devices? if not, this is a good previous short guide to visit their website. Be aware that WHO is entirely focus on the Health, they are advocates on Health, but as we might know, Medical Devices are one of the organs of the Health and for this reason we can find a full chapter on WHO, it includes Medical Devices Management, country data (not all countries), policies, regulatory framework, quality and safety. All of these sections on the website contains links and books that can be downloaded. Most of the information is update to 2017 which is great!.
Discussions group are also created on the WHO community. What a great way to be connected!
Regarding the contain of the information this is valuable, it is general but for sure provide you scenarios on the subject and it is a good reference for you and your colleagues. it is also the possibility to read the site in Spanish and French.
Here is the link for you: http://www.who.int/medical_devices/en/ I hope you enjoy the read.
Another tip for my Biomedical Engineers colleagues... there is also a chapter for Biomedical Engineer role, check it out!.
Thank you for reading my post! see you later!
